Restless is a thoroughly prepared and meticulously maintained late model Valiant 42.  Restless has been lightly used and customized with numerous features for convenience, comfort and safety,  The current owner is owned the boat since 2004 and is an ABYC Master Tech as well as NMEA Advanced Certificates.  Universally recognized as a Bluewater Sailboat, the Valiant 42 will deliver you safely and in comfort.

Everywhere we go people comment what a beautiful boat we have and the price of ownership is rewarding.  When you walk or motor away from Restless, you always look back!

In the summer of 2019 Restless had new Awlgrip paint restoring its original factory beauty.  All pictures provided are from 2025-2026.

  • 2001-2002 Docked in Newport, RI
  • 2003-2004 - Dry Storage in Newport, RI
  • June 2004 - Purchased by Steve Youngson
  • June 2004 - May 2005 - Dry Storage in Waukegan, IL
  • 2006-2007 Docked Lake Michigan May to October with Dry Storage Nov to April
  • Aug 2007 - May 2008 - Cruising Great Lakes, East Coast and Bahamas
  • May 2008 to 2015 - Dry Storage in Oriental, NC (rod rigging stored indoors)
  • May 2015 to Present - Docked in New Bern, NC
  • Nov 2025 to May 2026 - Cruising Florida and Bahamas
